Masters at Work Retrospective Part II (1996-2000) is released.

The name of Masters at Work should be uppermost in your mind after the overwhelming success of Part I of this album. We now try our best in the space allowed, to bring you to the present. Some thought a four CD box set a little over ambitious, with the work of these modern legends so prolific, there was never going to be enough time to tell the full story...

The last five years of the twentieth century bought us the most remarkable project ever achieved in dance music ­ Nuyorican Soul. With it came the fusing of the sound of the future with that of the past. Working with Roy Ayres, Jocelyn Brown, Vince Montana, Eddie Palmieri and the late Tito Puente ­ the Masters pulled off the biggest coup in dance music history ­this retrospective serves up the choicest moments from this project. Never a duo to be complacent, not only did Kenny and Louie consolidate what they had started five years earlier, instead their output was if anything, in this period even more prolific. Highlights includ Mel B Œ I Want You Back , Daft Punk Around the World, Eternal Wat'cha Gonna Do, Luther Vandross Are U Using Me? and George Benson The Ghetto all are included here along with many other hard to find twelve inch releases.
